Ketra was born in Greenriver, WY as the eighth of nine children. Even as a young child she loved to read and write, a trait she now  hopes to pass on to her three little boys. Last year she had her first book published, A Journey of a Lifetime, and she has three more in the works.

                  No More.

Go ahead and hit me see if it makes you a man.

Try to hurt me and strike me with your hand.

Your anger used to scare me, to make me run and hide.

You are just showing that you’re a coward inside.

You think you can break me down to control me.

But what you do not know is
I grow stronger every time you hit me.

When all is said and done I will walk away

And be a better person for each and every day.

No more tears will I cry at your expense.

I will get over it and climb over that fence.

        Stolen love.

Tenderness in a secret kiss.

Hands holding on so tight.

A touch that you can not resist.

Even with all your might.

Moments stolen from time.

Glances shared between two.

Lives written down in rhyme.

Moments shared between so few.
