Graham Ducker, Poet (J.
Graham Publishing) and his wife, Stella, Poet (Editor Stellar
Showcase Journal and Program Director / Broadcaster of
International Fame Radio) were two of the
Canada Cuba Literary
Alliance Ambassadors.
Richard Grove, President (CCLA) has worked hard with his liaison
in Cuba for a literary adventure for all delegates. Mr. Grove
arranged, with our Cuban counterpart, a writer's workshop at the
University of Havana, along with established Cuban poets. A book
is to be published containing the work done during the workshop.

Delegates were to hold a reading where Her Excellency Mrs.
Alexandra Bugailiskis would
attend. However, Mr. Castro returned to Havana on that day and
schedules had to be changed
and re-arranged. We did however, spend almost an hour with the
Ambassador and she graciously accepted our presentation of books
for their new library.

we returned to the hotel, some of our poets were recognized, much
to their surprise! The next day we left to return to Canada, sad
