The Canada Cuba Alliance Trip to Cuba

As
members of the Canada Cuba Literary Alliance,
my husband and I are privilege of being Ambassadors of the alliance.
Our
trip
to Cuba began at
the end of January. Two weeks spent on the wonderful island of
sunshine and warmth. :-)
It’s a time
when we meet with our Cuban counterparts and ambassadors.
Along with Richard Grove, CCLA Pres., Manuel Velázquez, Vice-Pres.
and Wency Rosales, CCLA Ambassador, they are key in arranging our
workshops, readings, are our
translators, and Wency as our tour guide. Without them, it would be most
difficult otherwise. We also meet with Cuban poets and writers who
join in our workshops.
The creativity and talent is amazing!
An anthology book will be published containing the work done during
the workshop and also poems written while in Cuba. |
