Tender Is The Light
Shivers run through my spine,
While I imagine you.
Soon I’ll brush your outline,
While the sun sets anew.
Open
up and guide me;
Make me feel unbroken;
Fill me with energy;
And use words unspoken.
Tender
is the light
When fantasy’s flight
Finds refuge in bliss.
I feel
insubstantial,
Like water or thin air.
Queen of all essential,
My power is your prayer.
Celebration is ours;
Ethereal music
Fills space and boundless hours –
Love’s more than biotic!
Tender
is the light
When fantasy’s flight
Finds refuge in bliss.
Tender
is the light,
Pleasant is the night.
We are true poets
And Freedom’s lovers.

My Heart Will Always Protest
My heart will
always protest,
Whatever you do or say.
Even in your best interest,
I don’t want to fall away.
Hate me to your heart’s content;
Trample my words as you wish;
Take a vow of self-content;
And make my visage vanish.
My heart will always object,
Even if you feign to care.
It’s just a
matter of self-respect,
And of that, you have to be aware.
My heart will
always protest,
And, truthfully, my friend,
It’s in your best interest.
