THE CANARY

My lonely soul went
Wandering,
It flew far with the wind;
Over valleys, deserts,
Mountains…
Searching for warmth,
Searching for peace.
One day it heard a canary
That sang inside its
Cage;
A cage made out of anger,
A cage made out of rage.
Its melody was so sad
It made me stop and
Look;
Its eyes were full of
Longing…
My Heart was quickly hooked.
I tried to free the canary,
The door was tightly closed…
Will I have strength to
Free it?
Will we have strength to elope?

         THE TRAP

I went to see a wise man,
To clear up all my doubts;
I asked him:
“What s desire?”
“What s wanting all about?”
He answered me with sureness:
“You’ve fallen in the trap!”
“Such powerful attraction,
Makes you helpless;
That’s mishap!”

   BIRD OF LOVE

A Bird of Love came
flying
and perched on a birch
tree;
I thought Love had
arrived,
it had remembered me.
But Love was only
resting,
didn’t even look at me;
Love opened it’s wide
wings
and flew over the Sea,
it fled over the Ocean…
Love didn’t remember
me
.
