The year 2006 has been a
busy and productive year, writing and poetry-wise. We
look forward to 2007 to continued growth and some of the new
things that will be coming up.
We have seen much progress, activity and awareness of
poetry in related
groups, associations and meetings established since January
2006.
When we began this journal, it was with the objective
of giving emerging poets and writers an opportunity to be
published. The response has been fantastic! We have
received submissions worldwide for both print and our online
issues.
This year we will be working in conjunction with
International Fame Radio
for a poetry show. We hope that there will be enough interest to
launch this endeavor
and see it grow and thrive. So, here’s another way of getting
poetry out and becoming
involved by submitting and / or listening, commenting and
suggestions.
The journal has pretty much been an open type of
submission up to this point,
but this coming year, we will try to have a certain amount of
theme submissions in each quarterly issue.
We are also going to be adding a featured poet and a
featured short story writer
per issue.
As exciting as 2006 was, we are positive that 2007
will prove to be as equally
busy and exciting.
