.B.
(Bunny) Iskov is the Founder of The Ontario Poetry Society, Ontario's
only Provincial, Democratic, Grass Roots, Poetry Friendly
Organization. She is also the Literary Judge for the Early Harvest
Competition, sponsored by Vaughan Public Libraries. Bunny's work has
been featured in many fine literary journals and anthologies. She has
published one full collection and several chapbooks.

hides its spirit
without influence
under wandering stars
offers no warmth
no shelter
November
bleeds in the rain
falls on sidewalks
turns frigid and shatters
like delicate crystal
exposes harsh facets
in changing moods
November
demonstrates cruelty
destroys summer grass
darkens summer shine
voices perilous pitch
the sinister deliverance
beats on window panes
November abrupt
misfit
reclusive nightmare
in the midst
of an empty steel gray sky
thicker than the coming snow
angrier than the coming storm
jealous of the coming season
