Windows of Opportunity

Sapphire swirl surrounds my ecclesiastical self

     conifer bushes shade sheltered feet

     polished toes grind into soft sand

     tearful eyes effervesce over buttercups

     tight ripples lick my soles.

Deep inhale of jasmine berries

     while rays of light penetrate

     and my translucent body shimmers.

Ecstatic flow erupts:

   guttural moan echoes

   clenched eyes release

   silent sweat moistens

   breath longingly retreats.

Rivers of stars shimmer over me -

   an evolutionary moment realized

   where the destiny of mankind unites

   possibility and dreams collide

   and there is peace at last.
