“Did you hear that?”  Jo quivered.

“What?” Tama inquired.

“It sounded ‘cru-cru-cru’,” Jo whispered.

“Nooo - now keep quiet, we have to keep focused,” Tama told Jo. But Jo could not stop.

“Did you see that,” Jo continued.

“What,” asked Tama again?

“It sped through the water – ehhh it has disappeared,” Jo gasped.

“I know I should not have come with you!” Tama scolded, and then warned, “Please keep quiet or we will not be able to catch any fish.”

But before long Jo was again at whispering. “It could be a big cannibal fish and we will be in its belly instead of it being in ours for dinner.”

“Shh!!! I think I have got something,” Tama said, as he tried to drag his fishing rod out of the water. Anxiously Tama looked about him not sure why the load down the rod was quite heavy.

“I told you – now you have caught the big fish and if you continue to drag it here – we are both going to be its dinner,” Jo mumbled.

“Shut up Jo,” Tama grunted as he struggled with the rod.

Suddenly something appeared as he pulled the rod further into the boat.

“Eee – that is not a fish,” Jo yelled.

Tama stared at the decomposing body hooked to his rod. His mind went blank for a second and in panic he shouted to Jo. “Pull the anchor out of the waters – we have to get out of here.” But there seemed to be no sign of any movement. Turning round, is eyes widened to capture the sight of Jo unconscious.
